Empowering Educators: Nutrition & Body Image in the Classroom

About the project

Our "Empowering Educators" workshop is designed for both primary and secondary school staff.

In just 60 minutes, participants will gain essential knowledge and practical strategies to promote positive body image and nutrition in the classroom.

Understanding Body Image

Participants will first gain insights into understanding the significance of body image in educational settings and the direct impact the language we use impacts children's mental health.
Participants will learn signs of body image issues in children and discover effective methods to discuss, address and support them.

Promoting Positive Body Image

Learners will explore practical classroom strategies specifically designed to foster a positive body image among students and will work through age-appropriate activities and discussions that encourage open dialogue and a healthier self-perception.

We will then discuss the importance of understanding the vital role of nutrition in shaping body image and how to seamlessly integrate nutrition education into your curriculum.

What's the cost?

The cost is £197 per session - with no maximum limit, however, it's encouraged that for larger work forces (over 35 staff) two sessions are booked for the best impact.
